Our Founder
Tejas Shroff is the founder of Return Gift and a respected faculty member at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD). With years of experience in the technology and cybersecurity industry, along with a strong academic background, he has dedicated his career to teaching, mentoring, and helping students grow into responsible global citizens.
Before joining UTD, Tejas Shroff held senior roles across cybersecurity, consulting, and digital services, where he helped organizations strengthen their systems and adopt modern, secure technology practices. His experience working with diverse communities and companies shaped his belief that real change begins with small, consistent acts of kindness.
This belief inspired him to create Return Gift, an initiative focused on education, healthcare, and supporting families in need. He strongly believes that even “one donated meal can support a child for an entire month”, and that “a small part of a bonus or birthday budget can support a child’s education or provide essential goods and care.”
Inspired by countless stories of children struggling for basic education and families fighting to secure daily meals, Tejas Shroff founded Return Gift to create a simple and powerful pathway for people to give back to society. His mission is rooted in the deep conviction that even the smallest act of kindness can change someone’s entire future. Together we can make an impactful positive change.
